With Gunnar chewing at his toy, Jax was in the brig cell, cleaning when he got the call that some officers had been fighting and would be in the cell for a while. Acknowledging that, he got out, set up the forcefield in the middle, and went to stand with Gunnar facing the cell.

Tessa materialized in the confined space; she is furious as the Commander had no right to put her here. Right across from her stood ; if ever there were a bane of all evil, Kuroko.

"This is Yo-ur fault." Nicoles said as she took a step forward, taking her hand back 'til the Force Field shocked her and threw her back onto the half of the bunk and wall.

"That is your fault you Minx!" She spat angrily.

"Oh no its not!" Kuroko shot back. "Clearly, you're not right! I'm only trying to save you before you let a man... you know!"

"Yes I know..." Nicoles shot back. "That -was-the -P-o-i-n-t!" She sprang up with her hands on her hips. "And some Jealous bimbo nixing the notion."

"I'm only jealous because I know you!" Kuroko responded.

"Yew do not know me. Not since you left." Nicoles spat and fought urge to charge for another shock. "Yew lost the right to guess, more over know me a long time ago. Ah was doing Fine." She stomped her left heel hard on deck. "Why couldn't Yew leave me be?

Kuroko crossed her arms like she was sulking. "I didn't leave you. I was forced away"

"Yew never knew Ah survived. You went on and jumped the first command that caught your transfer. Ah checked when awake after a comotose state. Yew were a dang site long gone. Thais Not Forced, yew went on yer two feet." Nicoles stare daggers. "Just so yew know ah did not cry over the spilt milk, no one got the satisfavtion of my tears."

Lieutenant Ronen walked into the room with the cell, surprised to see the two women. "Good evening, ladies."

"It was until she decided to make herself a Third wheel for some reason." Nicoles glare at Kuroko. "Ah would have been fine and Dandy had she not come in between my date and ah."

Kym looked from one woman to the other. "Your...date?"

"Yes, Mister Franklin." Nicoles said. "A fine example of an Alpha from the Human Gene Pool." She winked. "The kind of man mah Momma had wanted for me."

"Mister Franklin?" Kym asked. "Have you seen the doctor yet?"

Jax had to hide a smile; his job was often stressful, but sometimes it was highly entertaining.

As if on cue, the tall Andorian walked into the room. Her antennae were lashing about worriedly. In a soft wispy voice, she asked, "Did someone ask for me?"

"Yes," Kym said. She took the doctor aside to speak confidentially. Sotto voce she explained that Tessa and Kuroko had been dating before the away team went down to the planet, and now Tessa had been on a date with a man. "I think she's been affected by the planetary pathogen."

"That is why I am here," Zuub answered. "Commander Quinn expressed a concern to me. This raises a larger concern, however. If this is indeed what was experienced on the planet, then our transporter filters are not recognizing it and that could have a great deal of potential hazards for the rest of the crew. Do you know who she has been in contact with since she has been back? If my scans show what I think they will, then we will have to quarantine them and hope they have not spread this further."

"Her Mister Franklin from security, and the people in the briefing, that I know of," the counselor replied.

Amber walked in and saw the two doctors. "Thank you both for coming. I walked into the louge and those two were having a cat fight. Lieutenant Nicoles is aggressive and looking for men. Neither is like her."

"So you informed me after the briefing," Zuub replied softly. Zuub then turned to the counselor and said, "I want you to round everyone she's had contact with up as innocuously as possible and bring them by sickbay for screening. I'm going to scan the Lieutenant here and if it proves to be the planet's virus, I will have to tranquilize her and have her transported to sickbay. I cannot risk the contagion spreading."

"I will. You can start with Lieutenant Shirai. I'll send Mr. Franklin to you as well."

"He should be heading here to file a report," Amber said.

"Convenient," Zuub replied before heading towards Lieutenant Shirai. "Lieutenant," Zuub instructed Kuroko, "please come here so I can run a scan. I assure you that this will not hurt."

DO not act as though Ah am some child; I do have a medical de-gree and know the effects of a scan... really Zuub, yew'all need work on the bedside manner." Nicoles huffed. "Following the procedures while in the cave Ah did wear a cumbersome suit that when I stepped on a rock nearly twisted my ankle clean off..." She did a lightest tap on the force field with a strained gaze. "Hard to come closer with a Force Field and the range of the Tricorder is far more than the space between us Doctor Zuub... really now."

If Zuub's face had the capacity to frown, it would have. Instead, her antennae drooped wearily as shse scanned Tessa. The results were instantaneous. "Lieutenant, I am sorry to report that you have been effected by the contagion on the planet. Have you exchanged bodily fluids with anyone? Who have you been with since returning?"

"A lady does not discuss such matters normally but Ah will admit to not having any opportunity for intimacy. So no exchange of ANY fluids." Nicoles admitted.

"Though Ah did mean to as he is a handsome Devil." She smiled. "Ah was not on duty and only that woman and my date could be considered contacts."
