| Personal History | Lucy was raised on colony 4. Colony four was one of 6 deep space colony ships that left earth in the early 2200s. It was founded on a moon orbiting the third planet of the R-425 system, about half way between Earth and Pacifica. Her parents where the colony doctors. In 2379 a group of seismic shifts damaged the colony and killed her mother and brother. She started to study medicine under her father and spent the next two years nursing trauma patients from the continued seismic damage to the colony. The Federation was finally able to mount an evacuation of the colony in 2381, when Lucy was 17. She completed an undergraduate degree in emergency management, and went on to study with Starfleet medical. She earned and MD and a commission in 2389. in 2389 and 2390 she served on the UCC Dominant, a Defiant class ship stationed along the Neutral zone. The ship was heavily damaged by Reman rebels in mid 2390. She helped out in the hopital ward at Starbase 214 tending to the survivors. She continued there, serving in the trauma and intensive care unit of the hospital at Starbase 214 rising to the rank of Lieutenant JG by 2392 |
